Club General Manager

To direct, promote, and coordinate the operations of the Club in a manner that will optimize the Club's performance in Sales, Retention Group Exercise and Personal Training. To improve the Club's efficiency, achieve set budgets and deliver outstanding customer service. To attract, recruit, develop, train and engage our staff (Fitness Firsters) to achieve individual and club targets in line with the business goals of the company. To deliver Net Member Growth and ensure profitability of the business. To ensure the Club and Fitness Firsters represent and uphold our company brand.

Reporting to: Area Business Manager.
Qualification: Degree in Sports Management/Sports Science Coaching and Sports Qualifications.
Experience: At least 2 years' experience as a Manager.
Relevant: 3-5 years in the Fitness Industry and having worked in other departments. English speaking and writing.
Skills: Good Knowledge of Leisure and Health Club Industry, Result orientation, Teamwork & collaboration, Communication skills, Proactiveness, Flexibility, Recruiting skills Leadership skills, Coaching and Mentoring skills, Customer service orientation, Good commercial knowledge of P&L's, trends, yield, budgets.

Fitness Manager

To effectively manage and drive the Fitness Team (Floor Assistant, Fitness Instructor, Personal Trainer and Floor Manager) within Fitness First Health Clubs. To succesfully meet all KPI's and fitness budgets and contribute to brand growth and business profitability. To ensure the Fitness and Product Standards are followed and executed by the fitness team. To Monitor and review Fitness First member's needs, which includes the New member Journey and daily experience, Gym Floor Activities and Personal Training service.

Reporting to: Club General Manager.
Qualification: Knowledge in all the equipment offered from Fitness First gym is preferable. First Aid Certified. Preference for candidates with Degree in Sports Science. Newly graduates are welcome.
Experience: Experience as team lider and in personal training.
Relevant: English speaking and writing.
Skills: Motivate people in a passionate and personal manner. Communicate effectively and have confidence in presenting to the public. Maintain a positive attitude at all times. Design routines and programs to achieve fitness goals, and tailor routines. Plan, design, implement and review tailored personal training programmes. Adhere to Occupational Health and Safety procedures at all times. Manage conflict and negotiate win/win outcomes.

Group Exercise Manager

As a Group Exercise Manager you will be responsible for developing and managing the club's timetable based on member demands and fitness trends, working within given budgets. You will conduct monthly quality control checks to maintain the highest possible standards. You will organise monthly club events to aid in the retention of current members and assist with membership sales and lead generation.

Reporting to: Club General Manager.
Qualification: Knowledge in all the equipment offered from Fitness First gym is preferable. First Aid Certified. Preference for candidates with Degree in Sports Science. Newly graduates are welcome.
Experience: Teaching experience in either Les Mills and/or freestyle programmes and managing experience.
Relevant: English speaking and writing.
Skills: Motivate people in a passionate and personal manner. Maintain a positive attitude at all times. Manage conflict and negotiate win/win outcomes. Team player. Good communication.

Membership Manager

To manage a team of Membership Consultants against the Sales Daily Action Plan. To drive sales performance to achieve the monthly sales budget. To monitor Product Mix against required targets. To deliver daily training sessions to the team. To identify opportunities for new business To carry out day to day sales administration.

Reporting to: Club General Manager.
Qualification: Knowledge in all sales methods in the fitness market. Preference for candidates with Degree in the Marketing or Sports.
Experience: Relevant experience has membership consultant or as a sales team member. Preference for candidates with experience in managing teams.
Relevant: English speaking and writing.
Skills: Results focus. Excellence in delivering exceptional customer service. Fitness qualifications is highly desirable. The ability to develop product knowledge to drive the value of club membership. Strong selling skills needed to maximise personal performance and reach membership targets.

Group Exercise Instructor

The Group Exercise Instructor is responsible for providing a variety of classes to the highest standard as set out by Fitness First. Interacting with class and gym floor members and assist with any member queries where possible. Assisting Group Exercise Manager with the delivery of the member journey. Completing the studio checklist on a daily and monthly basis ensuring the studio is 100% operational, clean and tidy as set out by Fitness First. Conducting staff classes as requested by the Group Exercise Manager and Club General Manager.

Reporting to: Group Exercise Manager.
Qualification: Internationally recognized exercise to music or equivalent REPS Level 2 qualification (you dont need to have REPS certification, you just need to have the qualifications to get it later). First Aid Certification. Continuous education to update knowledge and maintain REPS certification level. Newly graduates are welcome.
Experience: Minimum 1 year teaching experience within a studio based or health club environment.
Relevant: English speaking and writing.
Skills: Strong motivational, interpersonal and communication skills. Maintain a positive attitude at all times. Enjoy meeting people and maintain a good raport with members by encouraging them in regular participation in exercise programs.

Personal Trainer (Level 3)

The Personal Trainer 3 ensures effective operation on the gym floor including provision of advice to members with regards to maintaining correct technique during exercises and correct use of equipment and overall responsibility for ensuring the equipment is in an orderly fashion. The Personal Trainer position description includes designing and implementing exercise programmes for a range of individual clients by collecting and analysing client information to ensure the effectiveness of personal exercise programmes.

Reporting to: Fitness Manager.
Qualification: Minimum Certified Level 3 ICREPS PT or currently working towards (you dont need to have REPS certification, you just need to have the qualifications to get it later). Newly graduates are welcome.
Experience: Working as a Fitness Instructor or Floor Assistant within in a gym, health club environment.
Relevant: English speaking and writing.
Skills: Maintain a positive attitude at all times. Being able to design innovative programs to achieve fitness goals, and tailor routines. Adhere to Occupational Health and Safety procedures at all times Good communication skills in English. Self-starter and hold strong organizational skills. Possess strong motivational, interpersonal and communication skills. Enjoy meeting people and maintain a good rapport with members by encouraging them in regular participation of exercise programs.

Fitness Instructor

To assist members on the Gym Floor by being responsive to their needs in regards to instruction, information and assistance, being alert and cheerful at all times. Exceed Fitness First member expectations through ensuring attentiveness on the gym floor, assisting them with correction, instruction and advice on exercise execution that will ensure their safety and maximize exercise effectiveness; ensuring clean and fully operational facilities at all times. Have a clear understanding of business objectives, vision, values and 10 Essentials. Demonstrate a high standard of instruction and technique in the execution of all exercises in accordance with the Fitness First guidelines and regulations thereby providing optimal member service thus motivating them in achieving their personal fitness goals.

Reporting to: Fitness Manager.
Qualification: Minimum Certified Level 2 REPS PT, equivalent or currently working towards (you dont need to have REPS certification, you just need to have the qualifications to get it later).
Experience: No experience needed. Newly graduates are welcome.
Relevant: English speaking and writing.
Skills: Be a Self-starter and hold strong organizational skills, a strong positive, motivational, and interpersonal skills. Enjoy meeting people and maintain a good rapport with members by encouraging them in regular participation of exercise programs.

Cross Training Instructor

Demonstrate a high standard of instruction and technique in the execution of all exercises in accordance with the Fitness First guidelines and regulations thereby providing optimal member service thus motivating them in achieving their personal fitness goals.

Qualification: Crossfit L1 certification. Minimum Certified Level 2 REPS PT, equivalent or currently working towards (you dont need to have REPS certification, you just need to have the qualifications to get it later).
Experience: No experience needed. Newly graduates are welcome.
