Its flesh is white with red shade, is available any time of the year and sometimes called onion salad because it provides flavor to dishes as well as a touch of color.

Yellow Onion

It is the most popular of all, have yellowish brown skin, creamy white flesh, intense flavor and can be used on any type of food.
