A home designed by Arthur B. White, a prominent Philadelphia architect, is on sale in the Elkins Park neighborhood (which we hear is also home to the only synagogue designed by Frank Lloyd Wright).

Curbed reports the asking price for the mid-century modern is $299,000. Not a bad deal for a home designed by a starchitect. Strangely, a Louis Kahn-designed home in New Jersey is currently on the market for almost the same price (see Louis Kahn House for Sale in New Jersey, Asking Price $289,900)

Aside from its high-end architectural pedigree, the 2,000-square foot home boasts four bedrooms, two-and-a-half baths, and a formal dining room with a flagstone floor. There is even an exercise room on the lower level.

White, who died in 2005, was the recipient of multiple design awards, including two from the Society of Beaux-Arts Architects. In 1972, he was elected president of the Philadelphia American Institute of Architects.
