We just finished a week vacation at the Grand Sirenis. We booked through BookVIP and I have to say that I'm extremely pleased with the entire trip, all the way from booking through the conclusion of the trip. We got a phenomenal deal and had an excellent trip!

"Un viaje maravilloso... muy relajante... ¡volvería en un abrir y cerrar de ojos!"
En general, nuestro viaje fue fantástico. La comida era buena -comimos en el restaurante italiano y el buffet (no llegamos al bar de sushi) la comida fue muy buena. Hay que comer en el restaurante italiano, es delicioso. La noche mexicana en el buffet fue deliciosa también....tacos de carne de res con piña...¡fue una experiencia ineludible! El espectáculo se dirigía más bien a los niños pequeños. No fuimos a divertirnos, así que no nos importó... Las piscinas eran hermosas, casi preferimos estar en la piscina antes que en la playa. La playa era muy divertida. Nuestra habitación estaba en el extremo opuesto del resort en el que está la playa, lo recomiendo encarecidamente. Nuestra habitación tenía vistas a una hermosa piscina y era encantadora y tranquila - era agradable poder alejarse del ajetreo de la playa y de los bares durante el día para nuestra siesta de la tarde! Por la noche era muy agradable abrir la ventana a la piscina... era tan sereno y tranquilo. Nuestra habitación era genial....bonita y grande, fresca incluso durante el día, el baño era muy grande, una ducha enorme....nos encantaba nuestra habitación.

Realmente disfrutamos de nuestro viaje - definitivamente recomendaríamos este resort a amigos o familiares....volveríamos en un abrir y cerrar de ojos...¡y tal vez lo hagamos! el mejor lugar del mundo 15 años ahora, y siempre espero la próxima vez! Llegué por primera vez al Krystal en Puerto Vallarta en 1993. Fue totalmente por accidente que lo descubrí! Las habitaciones eran grandes y hermosas, mucha luz entrando por las ventanas, el fondo era definitivamente mexicano, lo cual me encantó, los terrenos eran preciosos y las piscinas eran cristalinas. Podría imaginarme venir aquí por muchos, muchos años! Sé que suena tonto, pero lo que realmente me convenció fueron las rosas de papel higiénico que estaban en los rollos de cada baño! Pensé que era tan lujoso! (Aunque ya no hacen las rosas de papel, ahora tenemos hermosos animales esculpidos con toallas en nuestra cama todos los días, ¡la encantadora obra de la mucama). Desde entonces, he estado en el Krystal todos los años. Conozco a algunos de los vendedores de año en año y somos amigos! Conozco a la mucama que limpia nuestra habitación cada año (intentamos conseguir la misma habitación) y le guardo bolas de hilo durante todo el año y se las traigo, lo cual es un placer para ella. Hemos conocido gente en la playa que son miembros del Krystal y se han hecho amigos. A veces los vemos cada año o cada dos años! A lo largo de los años, he traído dos novios al Krystal, dos maridos y seis hijos! (¡No todos al mismo tiempo!) He enviado a mi sobrina y a su marido allí para su luna de miel. Mi hija y algunos amigos de la universidad vacacionaron allí. ¡No puedo pensar en un lugar mejor para estar! El Krystal es maravilloso porque hay diferentes grupos de edades allí. Hay adolescentes en las vacaciones escolares, pero también hay familias con niños y parejas mayores que vienen desde hace años. Todo el personal es acogedor y muy servicial. Lo que más disfruto es que es tan relajante! Si quieres quedarte en la playa todo el día y leer, o ir al centro de la ciudad a hacer algunas compras, el ritmo es siempre agradablemente lento. No puedo decir lo suficiente acerca de lo mucho que amo el Krystal en Puerto Vallarta! He estado visitando este lugar todos los años durante 15 años, y siempre espero con ansias la próxima vez! Hago mis reservaciones para el año siguiente incluso antes de salir del Krystal, ¡sólo para tener algo que esperar! A todos los que he llevado allí les ha encantado también. "Terrific Upgrade"
Made a fairly last minute decision to vacation in Puerto Vallarta, and this place was available. Pleasantly surprised when we were upgraded to a villa upon checking in. Private patio including a pool just for our unit. The resort is conveniently located near the walmart and the upscale liverpool shopping mall; Walking distance to restaurants and a short bus ($.80) bus ride to the malecon. We like to explore locally and found several tasty options for meals withing walking distance. Frankly, the bed was great, the pool crowded, but when you have a private pool, who cares? But the service was excellent. The front desk was attentive, maid service was timely, and the concierge helpful. The location of this hotel is right on the beach (beautiful) and there were none of the local street merchants around. This was really a week in Paradise.
"Good Value - Great Food & Drinks Included"
I stayed with a couple of friends on a bachelor party. Great food, the lemonade and vodka was to die for and the food was fantastic. "Good all-inclusive resort"
My husband and I recently spent a week at Krystal Vallarta. We used a recent LivingSocial deal for an all-inclusive stay. We were assigned an ocean view room on the 4th floor. They initially gave us a room with 2 doubles, but quickly changed it upon our request. The hotel itself is older, but otherwise clean and met our needs. Room service cleans daily and provides extra bottled water, which we appreciated. Staff here was friendly and quite helpful. The location is great! The hotel is close to the airport, right on the beach and close to restaurants. The boardwalk is a 5 dollar cab ride. Cabanas are free and the beach was never crowded. Krystal has three pools, one being an infinity pool. The concierge is knowledgeable about the area. We researched excursion companies in advance and had booked before arrival. Do your homework if you're trying to get your best deal. The all-inclusive package stated it included all meals and beverages (including alcohol). There were 5 restaurants with this hotel. We were asked to schedule reservations in advance, which were odd, because none were every busy. The food was good but not extraordinary.The buffet is open for all three meals. There were standard stations and a grill station with varying things (eggs, meats, etc). Overall we enjoyed our stay and would recommend Krystal resorts in the future!
"Private Condo In side off Krystal Puerto Vallarta Full o Part Time"
We have a great time in a private condo, two rooms, in side off the H Crystal, Full Hotel Services, Full Kitchen and great spaces, could be rent by days, week, monthly or year, capacity for 10p. The best location in town just 5m to the international airport, walking to all ( Mall, Movies, Market, etc )
"Mexico Trip Week of April 29th"
My Girlfriend and I just got back about a week ago from a week at Krystal! We had an absolute blast the entire time we were there! We have a time share there and it was the first time in Puerto Vallarta. After reading many reviews before getting to the resort, we were unsure of what to expect but we weren't going to let that get us thinking twice. After arriving and a quick check in to our room we were off to ask questions and get things figured out. The entire staff was quick to help us out and give us all the pointers we needed! First thing we did was head to the store a block down the street and grabbed some food and of course alcohol!! After stocking our fridge we enjoyed the beach and pools. The resort itself is very clean and looks neat with the brick and stone pathways throughout the resort! I would suggest that anyone coming to this resort just get out on the city and enjoy the town! It is very safe down in Puerto Vallarta and I would recommend going out to eat every night at a different restaurant on the Malacon' (board walk). It is a $5 taxi down there and there are so many things to do down there! I will totally be telling my friends and family about this and bringing them down there. Its peaceful and feels like home to us! Best Advice: If you are looking for a nice clean and relaxing resort for a great price, I would come to Krystal! If you would prefer people holding your hand and wiping your rear end, than make sure to book elsewhere!!
"Good Memories"
We stayed at the Krystal for 2 weeks in January, 2013. We met a lovely lady by the name of Rosario who was so willing to help us with everything. Other staff members were very helpful as well. This resort exceeded our expectations in every way. It is centrally located, has lovely grounds and very nice villas. Our own swimming pool was quite wonderful. All in all, this is a good place to go. You won't regret it. Oh by the way we are two seniors without any mobility problems. If you have a problem walking, not to worry, the "golf carts" will take you to your accommodation.
"It was good to be back"
Another wonderful vacation in Puerto Vallarta staying in my two bedroom villa timeshare and yes, we did swim in the pool. It is wonderful to watch and listen to the birds in the palm trees as we had our morning coffee on the patio. One day an iguana came into the area and accepted the fruit offered. Every time I come I have difficulty accepting the changes. The Hilton taking over the area where the first timeshare I bought was located. All the highrises to north and south. But after a while I appreciate what is still there including the friendly staff. I'm so glad that Puerto Vallarta seems just the way it has always been. But there are fewer tourists and the cruise ships stop coming by the end of February. We do need to support the economy to provide legal work for people.
"Old Resort Charm"
Surrounded by modern high rise condos, the Krystal is one of Puerto Vallarta's first resorts and a delightful throw back in time. We stayed in one of the villa condos with a master bedroom, main living area with kitchen and dining area and private pool plus a second "lock off" bedroom with bath and kitchen facilities. In addition to the beautiful beach, the Krystal has three pools plus the small villa plunge pools. Service was excellent and the staff and guest friendly. Bus service to downtown and the male con is excellent with buses every ten minutes 6.5 pesos each way. If you are staying in the villas with cooking facilities Sorianos super market is a short walk to the north. On weekends they will grill your meat and veggies on an open grill in the parking lot for free. They do a great job. Try chicken and thinly sliced beef. We tipped the grill master 20 pesos for his hot work.
"Going There For Years!"
We have been going to the Krystal every year since 2001 and have had both hotel and time share accommodations. Upon our return each year, we are greeted with, "Welcome home!" And that is how it feels for us. Every staff member is friendly and helpful, from the hotel lobby, front desk, "bellboy" service, our sweet maids, to the timeshare office and waiters. We enjoy the personal contact we have with those we see each year. As mentioned by another reviewer, Rosario Medina and Julio Cesar in the timeshare office are most helpful with personal requests. The grounds are gorgeous, with plenty of room for morning hikes around the meticulously maintained grounds. The beach area is unsurpassed in terms of size, with the palapas nicely spaced apart--no crowding. The pool areas are lovely. There have been many changes over the years, and each year the Krystal gets better and better.
"Thoughts about the Krystal,,,Puerto Vallarta"
My wife and I bought a time share at the Krystal in 2010. We love the charming atmosphere, the older relaxed pace, good accommodations, and Excellent staff. In particular there is a lady named Rosario Medina, assisted by Julio Cesar that can and will take care of any concerns that one might have. The beach access is excellent, the sand good, nice pools and some outdoor hotubs . The villas which we are in are most excellent, and the Master suite which we have, has it's own private little swimming pool, and it's fun to meet new neighbors as well. Now if the WiFi were only available in all the rooms it would be perfect. Then again you can get access in the very nice lobby.
"Better than expected"
This was our first time to the Krystal Hotel, and after reading other reviews we were scared of what we would find. To our surprise it was clean and the food was very good. The sushi in the Japanesse restaurant was excellent and we enjoyed the different nights of Italian food as well. The pool service was very good and friendly. However, do not expect fancy rooms, they are basic and the maid's keep them tidy and the beach, and beach chairs are weel kept. The massages we received from the girls in the spa were the best ever.
"Nice relaxing vacation"
Check in process was smooth and only took minutes to our room. The grounds are beautiful and have old mexican charm. The staff are very friendly. Food is ok. We usually eat out at different restaurants in PV because it is a restaurant heaven. One of the best beaches in PV with good service. There is a choice of swimming pools. My wife and I swam in the large lap pool for exercise everyday. There are massages available for very reasonable prices. I plan on returning next year
"Great Massage Deal"
75-minute aromatherapy massage for two for $75. That's 50 cents a minute, very hard to beat. You don't need to be hotel guests either. We walked over during a cruise ship stopover. The ladies were very professional and thorough. My wife and I were very pleased. If you Google Earth it the massage rooms are in the gym building on Las Garzas between Gorrion and Canario, behind the huge Palapa bar on the beach. It doesn't hurt to pre-arrange a spa time by email before you travel.
"The best choice in Puerto Vallarta"
If you consider to travel to the Mexican city Puerto Vallarta consider this resort as a good option. Why? Because of the beautiful environment, the large pools, lovely beach, good restaurant and beach bars, the big rooms and the resort lies close to Puerto Vallarta. What i mostly liked about Puerto Vallarta is the rawness of the city. We had a wonderful time!
"best vacation in years"
My sister and I spent 2 wonderful weeks at the Krystal on an all-inclusive. We had never done one before and were very apprehensive. Needless to say, our trip was very, very good. The food was excellent especially anything to do with fish. The hotel people and the wait staff were so very accommodating in whatever wwe wanted. We spent most of our time on the beach but the few times at the pool were quite wonderful. The pool staff came by frequently to see to any needs..the young man who serviced the towels always remembered our room number - which was quite impresive! I have a time share in Nuevo at the Grand Mayan and I must say I had a better time at the Krystal than the 12 years I have been travelling to the Mayan. Not a lot of people in September which we liked. I would definitely recommend this hotel to my friends, which I have already done and will most likely return next year.
"Great resort - Inclusive or not"
We opted for non all-inclusive as we didn't want to spend all day drinking and eating! For us, it was a good decision. However, depending on your needs, you cod do very well out of "all-inclusive". Great location with plenty of restaurants nearby and a big supermarket. Easy to get into town via local bus. Be warned, the roads are rough, so you may get some chiropractic work done without expecting it! All good though. Lots of vendors try to sell you stuff on the beachfront both in town at in front of the Krystal. Free Wi-Fi is available in certain areas of the resort.
"Krystal Puerto Vallarta Summer 2012"
To the management of The Krystal in Puerto Vallarta: I have finally returned from my summer vacation and I now have the time to write a review of my stay in Puerto Vallarta at the Krystal. I have nothing but praise for all of the people at the front counter during check-in and check-out. Everyone was so kind and accommodating and met our needs in a professional manner. I also enjoyed the food at the restaurant by the beach. The food was delicious and the service was superb. Everyone at the restaurant was courteous and professional. They even accommodated us for take out on the days that we preferred to eat in our rooms supplying us with plates etc. At the end of our stay, the management was also very accommodating and allowed us a late check-out as our plane had a late departure. Once again, I cannot praise the personnel at the Krystal enough. They made our stay memorable and enjoyable and I am looking forward to spending more vacation time at the Krystal in the near future.
"Great place."
Not exactly a five star resort but there are many reasons that make this place quite excellent. Our villa had a private pool. That was wonderful! The beach right in front is great, and the pools are great as well. Friendly and helpful staff too. I found that the pictures on the official website do not do any justice for this place. My friends and I were pleasantly surprised when we arrived. It is a beautiful property.
"Wonderful trip"
We upgraded to the oceanfront rooms, which was certainly the right choice. Run down the stairs and unto a beach chair next to the hot tubs. The balcony was really a joy. Walking the beach and enjoying the sun was sure easy with the very helpful staff. There was always food available and the service was exceptional as always in Mexico. They really know how to pamper their guests. The buffet food was good for AI, and the ala cartes very good especially the sports bar by Xtine and the Japanese place. I really loved having the front lobby and street far away from the beach and pool. The walk to the street was beautifully landscaped.

Four Restaraunts, shops and salon, Reasonably priced. Food, music and fun for all ages. Children's pool and Kid Zone. Shops and lots of activity. Rooms are great! Manager, Javier, was so friendly and helpful.
"KRYSTAL WAS GREAT!!!"
Arrived at the Krystal on Friday, March 2nd for a two week vacation using an RCI exchange. There were four people in our party so we exchanged for a two bedroom, 2 bathroom villa. 1) When we arrived our check-in went well with little wait. The staff were very friendly and helpful and answered all of our questions. The villa was very nice with a small patio off of the living room with our own pool. The pool was cleaned every day and we made good use of it. We cooked many of our meals in the villa. The maid service was the best. All of the towels and wash cloths that we needed. And it was not because of the tipping, because it was added on to your bill. It was alot less then we would have left, so we gave her a little more at the end of our stay. Walmart was close by to buy groceries and bus stop was right out front. The airport was less than 10 minutes away. There was a small plaza next to the Krystal with a few restaurants, and other stores along with a casino. We really enjoyed staying at the Krystal and hope to go back soon.
"Hospitality and staff at Krystal hotel"
By the time we arrived at the hotel we had tremendous anticipation for warm sun, fun and relaxation. Because of the large number of arrivals at the same time the hotel concierge was who welcomed us to the hotel. Not only did Javier begin our stay with prompt service but with a warm smile and wonderful recommendations. Our accommodations were not only clean but exceptionally beautiful. Food at the hotel for breakfast (fresh squeezed O.J.) and lunch was good. However, I (being a foodie) recommend many of the areas great restaurants (River Cafe, Dacquari Dicks, Del Santos etc. for a nice dinner out. My family particularily enjoyed the pool/beach drink and food service. Everyday we were greeted with a huge hug and smile by Enrique and Avelinho. Their prompt attention to our every need was above and beyond expectations. AIl in all the hospitality and staff at Krystal Valarta were wonderful. Thanks for a warm and memorable vacation. I will be back!!
