Athletics for All

Bullis Buldogs

At Bullis, physical activity is a habit. Bullis students are equipped at all athletic levels with tools to manage stress, maintain health, perform beyond their expectations, and relate to others.

Bullis students learn:

  • Sportsmanship
  • Commitment
  • Discipline
  • Teamwork
  • Competition
  • Respect for the game

Students learn to bring dignity and self-control to the contest, win or lose. Coaches encourage players to focus on their level of effort and personal improvement, in addition to the final score.

Find your place in Bullis Athletics from the smallest Lower School student to the NCAA prospect. Being part of Bullis means being a Bulldog.

We want you on the team!

Lower School

Athletics take the form of noncompetitive physical education and movement classes. Students have a daily opportunity to focus on coordination, collaboration, and body awareness.

Middle School

Athletics means team sports including soccer or activities like dance. Middle School students can choose among 14 interscholastic sports over three seasons.

Upper School

Bullis offers 23 varsity sports with a total of 66 teams led by experienced coaches. Bullis girls teams compete in the Independent School League (ISL). Boys teams play in the Interstate Athletic Conference (IAC).
