Bowser

Bowser isn’t a terrible character in Brawl, but we knew that without grab release combos he would need extra attention and testing.

Many of Bowser’s moves have received small damage buffs. Virtually every aspect of Bowser has been slightly improved, but his trademark forward smash now really shines. All this comes together to make him truly stand out as the Koopa King!

With these boosts, Bowser can remind everyone that his size and power are something to fear.

Balanced Brawl Bonus: Giga Smash

  • Bowser’s forward smash now has more knockback, creates an explosion graphic and sound, is fire element, and has generous super armor. This is similar to Giga Bowser’s forward smash.

Other Major Changes

  • Down aerial now generally hits much more favorably.
  • Does slightly more damage with most attacks and throws.
  • Bowser Bomb now has super armor.
