Thread: What does it take to install HUD?

I am guessing a trip to the stealership will be needed, give them a call and see what they would charge.

A lot of money. New dash, new wind screen, etc etc.

no doughy some money, often some of the needed stuff is already in the car, just not hooked up, good way to judge this is to look on line and see what the option would have cost if it were preordered with the car. I like how the OP says it is missing and not ordered with the car, go to BMW and tell them it is missing and you want it found, it is most likely just around the corner

Ouch, for that kind of money, I can tilt my head down a few inches and look at my main display, that would go for other upgrades say......Dinan stage 2 and still have money left to go out an have fun

Sounds like retrofit a few years down the road when parts cars become common.
