The Washington State Cougars host the second-ranked Oregon Ducks on Saturday night, with the two teams playing in Pullman for the first time since 2010. That game was an Oregon win, as has been the last eight games the two schools have played. WSU's last victory in the series came in 2006 at Martin Stadium.

WSU's last victory over Oregon before that 2006 game was in 2003, the same week the Ducks were featured on the cover of Sports Illustrated. Why is that interesting? Guess who is on the cover of S.I. again this week.

But if there is no voodoo S.I. cover magic assisting the Cougs against Oregon, it will certainly need a big day in the passing game to pull the upset. The good news for WSU is that the Ducks are vulnerable in the secondary. The bad news is that they aren't really vulnerable anywhere else.

Isiah Myers is a likely candidate to take advantage of the Ducks' secondary. The wideout is off to a hot start, and he put up video-game type numbers last week against Portland State.

An upset win could be a big boost to recruiting for WSU: The Cougs have four players coming on official visits this weekend. Even a strong showing would be great for the school, to show off a raucous Martin Stadium atmosphere. Unfortunately, Vegas doesn't see even a close game happening. But a look into some advance numbers may provide hope that Oregon at least fails to cover in Pullman
