Membership Overview

Individuals in the digital forensic profession are urged to join the Consortium of Digital Forensic Specialists (CDFS). There are three membership classes:

Individual Memberships: Individual Members are voting members of CDFS and have full participation rights in CDFS committees. Annual dues for individual members is $75 per year.

Organizational Memberships: Organizational members have full participation and voting rights in the CDFS committees, plus they receive more industry exposure and significant discounts on participant dues.

For-profit Companies: $1,000/year for initial 10 participants; $50/year for each additional participant
Government Agencies: $500/year; unlimited participant accounts for agency employees focused on forensics
Non-Profit Organizations: $500/year; participant access for the organization’s Board of Directors and its employees who are focused on forensics

Sponsorship: Provides organizations with visibility to a broad range of digital forensics specialists and activities. CDFS Sponsorship includes complimentary Organizational Membership in CDFS as well as other benefits that will allow your organization to establish itself as a leader in the digital forensics space. Sponsorships augment the resources available to CDFS perform advocacy, develop standards and promulgate the best practices needed to maintain the growth of the digital forensics space. Annual dues for CDFS Sponsorships are as follows:

Platinum Sponsorship – $10,000
Gold Sponsorship – $5,000
