Kylie Austin

Kylie is a member of the Eastern Districts Country Music Club in Auckland and has been performing for about 15 years.

In this time she has had many successes both here in New Zealand and in Australia too.

She has been a finalist in the New Zealand Country Music Entertainer of the Year on many occasions as a solo artist and also as part of a duo and a group.
She has also been a finalist in the New Zealand Songwriter of the Year awards. 

In 2004 she was the Maton Talent Search Winner at the Gympie Muster—which is the largest talent search of its kind in Australasia.

In 2005 Kylie was a graduate of the College of Country Music in Tamworth, Australia, this to date has been one of Kylies career highlights.

Kylie was part of the Senior Overall Winners North vs South at the 2006 Gold Guitar Awards which are held in Gore.

In May 2007 Kylie won the 13th Trans-Tasman Entertainer of the Year Award announced at Norfolk Island. Along with this title she also captured the award for Most Promising Artist from PVG Productions in Auckland. Kylie was competing in the awards against five others – three Australian and two New Zealand artists – as part of the Norfolk Island Country Music Festival.

2008 was another big year for Kylie which will included the release of her Debut Album “when it rains”.
