I do

DIY has a library of over 80 courses for teachers to choose from. Each course is made up of many bite-sized videos that are short enough to be played in class.

We do

For every lesson your students learn in a course, there’s a project or activity they can do to cement their learning. There are over 5000 projects to choose from on DIY!

You do

Using the DIY app, students can try projects and share them with you no matter where they are! You can track their progress and share feedback with them whenever you like!

How to Use DIY in Your Classroom

If your classroom has one screen
(projector/smart-board/computer/tablet)

You can play our how-to videos in class for your students to follow in real-time. All our videos are designed for kids to follow independently, so the pace and language should not be a problem.

If each student has a smartphone, computer, or tablet they can use in class

Assign students DIY videos to watch and projects to try! To promote peer learning, you can split your students into groups and assign each group a different project pertaining to the same topic. You can then have them present their projects and learnings in class or post their creations to DIY for their classmates to see!

If you do not use devices in class but have access to one at home

Use our DIY videos as a reference for activities you conduct in class! Our videos are broken down into easy steps you can replicate for your students in class.
