My Top 5 CD's
1. Murderdolls "Women & Children Last” — Horror-rock Prince, Wednesday 13 and Slipknot’s Joey Jordison team up for this shock-rock masterpiece. Jordison pulls double duty on this album playing both the drums AND guitars. Motley’s axe-grinder, Mick Mars, also makes a guest appearance laying down his chainsaw-style groove. How can you go wrong with songs like, “Hello, Goodbye, Die” and “Motherfucker See, Motherfucker Do!”

2. Stone Sour "Audio Secrecy" — From one Slipknot member to another, Corey Taylor & crew are back with another solid ball of rock! It’s pretty simple, if you liked Come What(ever) May you’ll like this one too. Lots of rockers with crunchy riffs and the few expected ballads all hit the mark. As always, Corey’s lyrics are the focal point of every tune. Crank it!

3. Black Label Society "Order Of The Black" — Zakk has survived blood clots, a berzerker drinking habit and OZZY! And out of the chaos comes an instant classic for all SDMF’s. Zakk’s guitar screams, wails and bleeds and when he’s not taking his aggressions out on his axe, he’s laying down the heavy grooves on his piano. All chapters come to order…Zakk is back!

4. Accept "Blood Of The Nations" — New singer Mark Tornillo lays down Udo-esque vocals over classic Wolf Hoffman riffs that will have you asking, “Udo, who?” But not only does Mark sing like Udo, he brings more range and his own unique style to this legendary band. Get yourself some strong German beer and get ready for this metal blitzkrieg!

5.Scorpions "Sting In The Tail" — From one German band to another, Klaus & Co. leave us with a great rocker in the vein of “Love At First Sting” and “Blackout.” Still at the top of their game after 40+ years! A perfect swan song for the band and their best album in 20 years!
