Your
late Aunt Thibodeaux wasn't as daft as she sometimes seemed...she
saved her pennies and invested wisely. She also purchased the mineral
rights to an eight mile square of land, and there's a good chance
that Louisiana swamp land has oil on it! Her
will leaves you $2,000,000 and mineral rights to that land.
There's only one catch! You only get your inheritance
if you use the money to drill for gas or oil on that land.
So here's your chance
to strike it rich! Your objective is to find oil before the money
runs out, and the fact is, finding oil can be an expensive proposition.
Almost everything you do costs money.
Each time you take action (except to visit the library) money will
be subtracted from your account.
Don't know where to begin?
Don't worry. There's plenty of help if you look for it.
It never hurts to
do a little background reading on the subject, so we've provided a
library
with some important information, including a glossary
to help you understand the important terms.
You can hire consultants
to provide you some important insights. They can't find oil for you,
but they can point you in the right direction. But remember - their
time costs money!
Success is determined
by drilling a well that produces commercial amounts of oil before
you run out of money.
