Wonderware InTouch 10.6

Hello,

I have been trying to find information regarding WW InTouch 10.6 2012R2. What I am trying to find an answer to is whether or not it is possible to install via USB instead of with the CD? The fanless industrial PC I am looking to purchase to use as an HMI computer does not have a CD drive.

Could anyone please advise on whether or not it is possible?

Yes, should work. Did exactly this a month ago. Thought I could just copy the intouch install folder and a couple other "important" files and folders but end up having to copy the entire DVD to make it install.

You could also install over a network.

Perfect I had thought that I'd be able to do so, just wanted to make sure. Thanks for the help guys

i have installed archestra system platform 2012 R2/ww intouch 10.6 from CD but it didnt installed. It was error "Unsupport Operating System detected". I have notebook OS 7 Pack 1, prerequisites has met all.
Please any solution???

I had the same system installed on Windows 7, had to uninstall it after a while and then installed it again, then encountered the same problem. Could only get it running after reformatting the PC. Seems that the PC was convinced that Windows Vista was loaded even though it displayed it as Windows 7, don't know if this is a windows bug or if I missed the point completely, but it worked for me
