Mapping Internship
We are seeking a highly motivated undergraduate student to join our team as a Digital Mapping and Visualization Intern. The intern will play a crucial role in solidifying the accuracy of mapping data from the 1838 Pennsylvania Abolition Society Census, contributing to the creation of a comprehensive digital representation of the Black Metropolis. This is a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in historical research, data analysis, and digital mapping techniques while making a meaningful impact on the preservation of Philadelphia's cultural heritage.

Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, the Director of Development will be responsible for all fundraising and development activities with a focus on establishing and implementing the infrastructure needed to grow annual revenue through the solicitation of major gifts, federal and state grants, special events, and corporate and foundation support. In addition, the Director of Development will oversee the Institutional Giving Manager, Membership Manager, and Development Coordinator and work closely with the board of directors as they take on a more active fundraising role.

Summary:
The Development Coordinator is primarily responsible for the processing and acknowledgement of philanthropic gifts made to The Philadelphia Orchestra and Kimmel Center, Inc. (POKC) as well as accurately maintaining the constituent database with account changes. The Coordinator will manage the donor phone line and inboxes as needed.
