About The SVO Club of America

Great! We'd love to have you as a member!! I'm sure you have several questions about us. We're always available for questions/suggestions. SVO ownership is not required to join the club and we welcome all types of Mustang SVOs, from authentic originals to the highly modified. We do ask for one thing...enthusiasm about SVOs. The club is managed by a Board of Directors. Emailing us sends your message to all Directors, so you may get several responses from us. We talk about our Club Purpose and Benefits below. They should at least answer a couple of questions you might have...if you have any others, Email us.

The SVO Club of America (a.k.a. SVOCA) is a membership club which operates for the primary purpose of promoting the preservation and ownership of the Mustang SVO. The Mustang SVO was produced by the Special Vehicle Operations (SVO) department of Ford Motor Company from 1984 through 1986. We strive to promote favorable relationships with automobile enthusiasts and local communities while educating people about the Mustang SVO.

The club offers a range of activities from social to performance. We have club sponsoring Vendors who offer specific discounts for our club members. Some of these discounts can prove to be more than our actual membership dues. We host a yearly event, The SVO Reunion. Your membership provides free entry or discounted pricing to the Reunion. Activities at the Reunion vary but we always have such things like a SVO only Show/Shine, an SVO only Autocross and a participant hospitality room at least one evening during the event.

The club publishes a member only newsletter called the SVO ENTHUSIAST. It is available on the website in our Member Central Area. From time to time, we offer unique club merchandise for sale and give special pricing to SVOCA members. Not only do we have all production data on the Mustang SVOs from Ford, but our Registry helps track the existing SVOs, so members can tell where their SVO's have been. Membership gives you searchable access to the Registry. It can tell you all sorts of interesting history, as well as production data on your Mustang SVO in the Vin search.

Our SVOCA Fourm has accumulated information for over 10 years. Members receive full access to our searchable forum, where other SVOCA Members hang out, and can help answer any questions you may have, or find out when the next event in your area is.

Yearly club Membership is $30.00 a year. You must print out our membership form and mail it in for your initial membership set-up. Afterwards, renewals can be done online through Paypal.

Good question
Your yearly dues pay for our website, our forum software, our events, and Membersihip merchandising. NONE of the Board of Directors are paid, and none have ever profited from the club. We won't be publishing any books using your money to pay for printing.

For new members, Please reply to this email, and let us know what you would like your SVOCA Forum username to be. This username will give you full access to the forum, Membbers Central area, all registry and production information, as well as newsletters. There are no restrictions on email addresses for members access, but you will need to contact the webmaster to complete the registrati on.
