An extraordinary colonial mansion set in its own private park, Casa Chorro is undoubtedly one of the finest homes in San Miguel.
With 7 bedrooms, 10 bathrooms, 3 powder rooms, a large pool and a full staff of chef, gardeners, houseman and housekeepers, Casa Chorro offers a unique setting for a wedding, a special family event or a private business retreat.
This elegant home is beautifully furnished by Rachel Horn, one of the premier interior designers of San Miguel.
Its lovely terraced gardens are located across the street from the historic birthplace of San Miguel and at the top of the city's historic district, just minutes by foot from the Jardin, the center of town.
With more than 3000 square meters of land - including an extensive, mature garden, beautiful swimming pool, a gym in a traditional "troje" structure, several outdoor salas and terraces -- it provides the ultimate in gracious inner-city living.
Casa Chorro sleeps 12 comfortably in the two main buildings of the property. Two more can sleep in the spa building in another bedroom. The maximum occupancy is 14.
The first building has the master bedroom suite and a second king suite, as well as the living room, dining room for 16, TV study, kitchen and outdoor terrace overlooking the pool and gardens.
The second building houses an additional four bedrooms, each with their own en-suite bathroom. The spa building has one more bedroom, with its own bathroom and easy access to a Japanese-style plunge bath and massage room. There is also a separate building for a home gym.
From many levels of the property there are expansive views of the city and mountains, as well as of the lush private gardens.
It has 8 fireplaces, an outdoor BBQ and dining area, off-street parking for 6-10 cars and multiple spaces for indoor/outdoor living.

Per Diem rate (with 4-night minimum): $2225 USD
Weekly rental: $11,900 USD
Monthly rental: $38,500 USD
Party/Event Fee: $20 USD per guest if more than 50 guests (but no more than 150 guests, max)
The pool is heated to 85F gratis, but if the renters want it warmer then there is a propane gas surcharge: $50 USD/day
Required Tip for Staff: $100 USD per room/per week
