TTP releases video message, claims it has not rejected the option for talks
PESHAWAR : The Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan has released a new video of its spokesman Ehsanullah Ehsan and member of its Shura (council) Dr. Asad, in which they have conveyed that while the TTP has not rejected the option of talks, present circumstances are not conducive for talks.

The TTP spokesman in his video message has claimed the government of Pakistan does not have the authority to hold talks. Adding that if the elected government seems able to take a stand against the country’s intelligence agencies, only then can the option of talks be considered.

The TTP spokesman further states in the video message, that the Awami National Party (ANP) has been targeted because it became a party to the war on terror and that the TTP is monitoring policies and views of the newly elected provincial government of the Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaf
