The Contractor’s License Board (CLB) announces today that all Contractors licenses will expire on June 30, 2016 regardless what time of year the license was issued. Failure to neglect or refusal of any licensee to pay the annual renewal fee before such date shall constitute a forfeiture of a license, according to Executive Director Eduardo R. Ordonez. Furthermore, contractors who fail to renew their license on this date and continuing to perform construction projects will be cited by the Board for performing work without a Contractors License. This notice is issued to strongly encourage all contractors on Guam to comply with this deadline to avoid any unnecessary penalties, according to Mr. Ordonez.
