That has been done in c++ with OpenGL on MacOS X Leopard. Then I got an android phone and I rewrote it in Java. That phone broke and now I’m on iOS, so please tell me what to do next 😉 Well, I got my hands on the Unreal-Engine which is able to deploy on multiple platforms, including OculusRift. Unfortunately the binary size of an Unreal build cannot compete with the initial project bundle size, but hey, compared to the 1K RAM I started programming with, everything built nowadays seems just a joke!
