The Veterans Assistance Commission of Boone County is located at 130 S. State Street Suite 212, in Belvidere on the 2nd floor of the PNC Bank Building.

Memorial Day Parade Monday May 27th.
Lineup will begin at 9:30 am and step off will be at 10:00am.
If you or your group are interested in participating in the parade, please contact Sheila at the VFW 815-544-2014 or
Michelle at the Legion 815-547-7216.
The parade route will begin at the parking lot between Main St and Whitney Blvd across from the Belvidere city offices.
It will proceed to the bridge on Main St where a brief memorial wreath release will take place along with a 21-gun salute. From there the parade will continue to Big Thunder Park. A brief ceremony will take place at the gazebo in the park if you wish to attend. ... See MoreSee Less
