Our vision is to create a more educated world by providing a methodology for reading promotion that can be adjusted culturally and geographically to inspire and guide other organizations globally.
Our objective is to develop lifelong readers and learners, capable of making positive contributions to society, by providing books and effective reading programs that inspire and motivate children and adults in underserved communities.

To fulfill its mission, Libros Para Pueblos establishes long-term relationships with libraries located in economically and socially disadvantaged regions of Oaxaca, Mexico. Libraries become members of a support network, in which knowledge and experiences are shared around the theme of reading promotion.
Visits to LPP-network libraries provide a first-hand look at LPP’s impact on young children, families, and communities and often take place in locations that participants would not otherwise be likely to visit.
